In GNome system menu, find “Login Window” Administration. Normally:

Step 1. gdmsetup

[System MENU] -> [Administration SUB-MENU] -> [Login Window SUB-MENU]

This way you will start the gdmsetup (/usr/sbin/gdmsetup).
Enter your administrator credentials.

Step 2. Tune Autoatic Login

[Security TAB] -> [Enable Automatic Login]
Switch on and off this checkbox as you need.
