You have the whole large directory path to put under subversion. Doing it manually is not a good idea…

Software:

✔ Eclipse Galileo

✔ Subversive Svn 1.6

Should also work for:

✔ May work with Subversive Svn 1.5

✔ Subversive Svn version >= 1.6

✔ Any compatible Eclipse

1

Open “Svn repositories” view

2

Select root where you want your tree to be created

In the repository view, select repository you want.
Also, pick the existing path under which you wish to place your directories.
For example, I want new BRANCH, so I put it under BRANCHES.

3

Open “Create Folder” dialog

Right mouse click create->directory

4

Enter full path

Name field. I enter: /my_horror_branch/very/deep/in/to/the/jungle

Done! (Don’t forget to comment your commit)
